Happy Chinese New Year

I was booted with such little effort in Little Rock, Arkansas. The date was September 18, 1979. Like a computer, I was the latest edition for my generation. Of course, I don't remember anything that happened that day. Trying to remember the past is like electricity flowing into the hard drive to recall the data I put down in the past.
My earliest memory consist of building complex Lego structures. My father would buy several sets with the little money we had. I was really good at breaking things. To me, fixing things was just the simple method of trial-and-error. I still love to build things and break them.
My family that lives in our house consist of four people: my father, mother, sister, and me. I have hundreds of cousins around the globe. I have a little more than four million relatives with the same family name, consequently, it is almost the same number of resistors and capacitors placed up on the motherboard. My parents are from Vietnam and my grandparents are from China. In a way, a computer has all of it's related parts come from foreign places other than it's manufacturer. My father is a genius at everything. He and I built my third computer.
During the six years I lived in Little Rock, my parents worked for loots of different restaurants. My first few years of going to school, I made horrible grades. The fact that I couldn't speak English until I finished kindergarden was really tough on everyone and me. I once spoke a little Vietnamese, but now it's almost all forgotten. While I went to the schools in Little Rock, I didn't learn anything and all I did was cause trouble. When I was little, my parents taught me almost everything, which was probably the reason I learned everything late. Soon my parents decided that they knew enough to own their own business, so they moved to Searcy. On January 25, 1987, they opened up a Chinese restaurant called Hunan's. Now I work there as a kitchenworker.
My interest in computers started when Atari was the coolest thing to have. I always dreamed of having one. Suddenly, Nintendo came out and it was the king-of-the-ring for about five or six years. For some dumb reason, everyone had to have one. I got my first computer in 1989. It was a 1979 model computer and it had about two kilobytes of RAM. I learned the BASIC computer language with ease. Everytime I wrote a program, I was forced to erase it when I turned it off. It took patience to run a computer. I finally gathered enough courage to promptly ask my father for a decent computer.
My first decent computer came from Sam's Club. At the time I bought it, I had no idea to get a surge protector so I actually got to see my new computer sizzle. We took it back and got a surge protector and a brand new computer. My life reset before my very eyes. What I knew about computers was obsolete and I had to start everything at the beginning. It took about a month to become a whiz at computers, but what I couldn't do was to type. Before I got my new computer, I took a typing class in the eighth grade. As a result, I now type 65 words a minute (average). When I turned 14, I self-educated myself on the repairing and maintenance of computers. Actually, my father took a home college course, but he couldn't read it so I had to take the course in his name. I made excellent scores on all the tests. My talent in computers started to shine. Soon I learned electronics and components. I learned a lot more of the trade at home than anywhere else. In the summer of 1994, I learned Qbasic and Borland's Turbo C++. These two programming languages was once the industry standard, but they are now obsolete.
In order to keep up with technology, I bought a recent ocpy of Windows 95. I always try to keep my computer up-to-date. As technology changes, my lifestyle changes. Right now, a six speed CD-ROM drive is top notch; in the future, it will be a piece of junk. Also, a laser color printer cost about five thousand dollars; in the future, it should be around three hundred dollars. Technology is hard to keep up with especially when you're the one trying to keep up with it.
My life reset again when I got a German Shepard Dog. I am very proud of him and I don't want to lose him. I wanted something challenging and something that didn't just receive commands, something that can think. Why not get a dog? So far, he hasn't caused any trouble. If he did I would still like him anyway.
Like a monitor, I have a colorful personality. I am a happy, careless person who never wants to grow up and get old. Since I am a laid back person, I hate everything that has to do with sports. My other interests consist of videogames, which is pretty obvious. My future plans are simple. I want to work for the military as a computer technician. It is now safe to turn off the power.s related parts come from foreign places other than it's manufacturer. My father is a genius at everything; garden was really tough on everyone and me. I once spoke a little Vietnamese, but now it's almost all forgotten.
